Engineering Notebook

Experience

Work described by the problems it had to solve.

Responsibilities matter less than decisions. Each engagement is a set of business constraints, architecture choices and lessons carried into the next project.

Party Action People

Senior Full Stack Engineer

Built the complete public platform for DeFi Connect 2025, a multi-conference event in Buenos Aires, independently under a compressed delivery schedule.

Problem

Party Action People needed one public platform for DeFi Connect 2025 that could present five summit identities, shared speaker and agenda data, and external ticketing without splitting the work into five separate sites.

Architecture

A modular Next.js platform normalized Sessionboard speaker and agenda data into shared components, summit-specific pages, responsive schedule views and direct external ticketing flows.

Lesson

Multi-conference websites should be modeled as content systems with shared infrastructure, even when each summit needs its own visual direction.

Sep 2023 – Jul 2025

Ethereum Community Conference

Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Built and re-architected the internal EthCC conference management platform used by a 30-person team to coordinate applications, speakers, side events and publishing workflows.

Problem

EthCC needed an internal operational platform for applications, speakers, team access, side events and publishing at conference scale.

Architecture

SvelteKit internal platform, Next.js public website, Strapi CMS, Firebase Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Storage and GitHub Actions around a reusable multi-event model.

Lesson

A conference management platform is a SaaS-style operations product; the public website is only one consumer of the event data.

Sep 2021 – Aug 2022

Volume

Senior Full Stack Developer

Built most of Volume's ticketing platform connecting Brussels nightlife access, partner museums, payments, scanning and administrative workflows.

Problem

Volume needed a reliable ticketing system that connected nightlife and museum access, payment, validation and operational administration.

Architecture

Svelte customer and scanner PWAs, Xamarin Android scanning, Firebase backend services, Stripe payments, Airtable connections and a Rowy-backed admin dashboard.

Lesson

Ticketing products depend on the full operational chain: customer purchase, venue validation, partner access rules and back-office control.

Nov 2019 – Dec 2021

WEimpact.AI

Full Stack Dev

Built a human-in-the-loop transcription platform for Polish public institutions, combining speech-to-text automation with multi-stage human validation.

Problem

Public meeting transcription needed automation for scale while preserving human correction, review quality and institutional trust.

Architecture

FastAPI services on Google Cloud Run processed uploaded media with FFmpeg, stored files in Firebase Storage, persisted transcription data in Firestore and exposed Svelte/Firebase validation workflows.

Lesson

Human-in-the-loop products work when the validation stages, quality metrics and reviewer responsibilities are part of the core product model.

RingRing

Full Stack Developer

Built custom client dashboards with Angular frontends, NestJS backends and reusable templates within existing RingRing delivery pipelines.

Problem

RingRing clients needed tailored dashboards delivered repeatedly without rebuilding the frontend foundation every time.

Architecture

Angular dashboard templates connected to NestJS backend services and deployed through existing DevOps pipelines.

Lesson

Reusable dashboard foundations make client-specific delivery faster while keeping implementation patterns consistent.

Sep 2017 – Dec 2017

Interface3

External Lecturer

Delivered IT training in .NET technologies, Xamarin.Forms and Windows 10 UWP.

Problem

Students needed practical training in Microsoft application development technologies.

Architecture

Course delivery around Xamarin.Forms, UWP, C#, XAML and Visual Studio.

Lesson

Teaching technical topics requires turning implementation details into clear mental models and exercises.

Nov 2015 – Aug 2018

Antartica

Co-Founder

Co-founded a 360-degree tours, VR and AR company building tailor-made tools mainly for real estate clients.

Problem

Real estate clients needed tailored immersive tools rather than generic presentation material.

Architecture

Client-specific 360-degree, VR and AR delivery combining analysis, frontend work and practical production constraints.

Lesson

Immersive projects succeed when the technical tool is shaped around the client's sales and presentation workflow.

Oct 2015 – Present

Skygate

Associate

Associate and consulting structure used for various client projects across web, mobile and CMS technologies.

Problem

Client projects needed flexible technical delivery across different stacks and constraints.

Architecture

Consulting structure supporting Angular, Firebase, WordPress and Xamarin projects as needed.

Lesson

Client delivery requires adapting the stack to the actual engagement rather than forcing a single technical pattern.

Jun 2015 – Jul 2016

Sagacify

Windows Phone Developer

Developed a Windows Phone / UWP business application with .NET, C#, Xamarin and Visual Studio.

Problem

The project needed business application features on the Windows Phone / UWP stack.

Architecture

.NET and C# application work with UWP, Xamarin and Visual Studio.

Lesson

Mobile business applications need careful alignment between platform constraints and user workflow.

Feb 2015 – May 2015

Microsoft Innovation Center

Intern

Completed an internship focused on WPF development with C# and XAML.

Problem

The internship focused on implementing desktop application functionality with Microsoft technologies.

Architecture

WPF desktop development using C# and XAML.

Lesson

Desktop UI work builds useful foundations in state, layout and event-driven programming.

Oct 2013 – Dec 2013

Buy Way Personal Finance

Software Developer

Worked on legacy banking and finance process analysis, COBOL/Mainframe systems and internal utilities for operational workflows.

Problem

Legacy finance workflows needed clear analysis, diagrams and utilities around Mainframe processes, security messages and internal administration.

Architecture

COBOL/Mainframe work combined with UML-style functional diagrams and Access/VBA utilities for specific operational needs.

Lesson

Legacy banking software depends as much on process understanding and documentation as on implementation.
